About the Event
This Round Table is authentic sharing in which different groups of people can vulnerably voice their experience of life with those they would consider to be the “other.” It’s a safe space in which people learn to set aside assumptions and truly hear one another. Each group will have an opportunity to speak while the other remains silent, simply listening. We will ask you to speak from your own experience, and share your own story, of what it is like to live in your skin. Please note, you do not have to speak to participate and experience the benefits.
Intended Results:
- You will feel heard about your experience of our current reality
- You will deepen your ability to hear others – even those you disagree with
- And you will be inspired to take actions to do your part to create a world where love wins
